The taekwondo is on from 26th - 29th, the schedule for the event is here there are two gold medal bouts each day.

Hi Aldarion, the only breakdown I have is from CBC and it is quite general. For the 26th from somewhere b/w 7:00am -12:00pm - Tae Kwon Do men's re kg/women's 49kg prlims

For the afternoon: somewhere b/w 12:00pm - 17:00 - Tae Kwon Do (men's 58kg/women's 49ke finals.


For the 27th somewhere b/w 7:00 am - 12:00 pm - Tae Kwon Do ( men's 68kg/women 57kg prelim) and somewhere b/w 12:00 - 17:00 Tae Kwon Do (men's 68kg/women's 57 kg finals)

On the 29th they have Tae Kwon Do in the morning for +80kg men's and +67 kg women's finals and b/w 18:00 - 23:00 in the evening they have men's 80kg finals and women's 67kg finals.

Sorry the times are so general - that is all that is listed, so I hope it helps somewhat.

Watching the TKD on BBC now, and it looks crap. Two blokes bouncing up and down with their arms hanging limp at their sides! A few kicks but no punches! At least the british guy has went through to the next round!

I saw the final of the 58kg men's where the Taipei guy won...

just a quick question...

I've never seen tkd fight's but is it like the ones in the olympics? there was no guards at all and no-one punched, they were both kicking each other and their hands down their sides.

This is the WTF style ITF have punches and more of a guard.
In WTF sparring, punches are allowed just not to the head and they very rarely score.
