Specific MMA Excercises.

Right, i know this is half and half between the MMA and Health section but i thought the MMA guys would check this more.
What do you guys think are good specific MMA excercises i can turn into a daily routine.
All i know currently is the brdiging over and over again technique. But how can i build up the fundamentals needed for succesful rolling?
Any of you guys want to share your routines?
Thanks

It all comes from the abs. Strengthen the midsection and watch your game explode.

I do a lot of plyometrics, and bodyweight exercises to develop speed and explosive power, and after six weeks I switch up to a powerlifting routine. I try to change my approach every six weeks to keep my muscles guessing.

Call me a fool, but im always a fan of the pushups & situps. Not to mention alot of cardio work. Squats are another good one to help with shooting.

An excellent website to check is this link here:

http://bodybuilding.com/cgi-bin/perl...&lang=en&q=mma

Predominantly it's a body building website; when you enter the search engine, they've got SO many workouts and excersizes specific to MMA.

Do what you do in practice. Shadow box with 5 pounders, squat with a weight vest, do footwork with calf shoes. Work the heavy bag, punch in blitzes etc.
