BJJ South-Africa

Hi my name Is jurgen and I am from South Africa.
I am In the U.K at The Moment and Would like to Find out if there are any Brazilian Jiu jutsu Clubs in South Afrika.
I have been Training Whith Some of the Best Brazilian Fighters from Gracy Barra In London for the past 2 years and I would like to know if there are any good clubs in S.A for me to go and train at? I am Coming Back to S.A in Aug.

I would be glad to hear from anyone who can give me some info.

Hi jonney

Sorry My first time on the forum.

I will get there I was in Lancashire a while ago for a Refresher Cours in Bodyguarding Nice place. Im in Belfast at the moment. Did some Ju Jitsu there white a guy by the name Andy Might go bac there in a few weeks

bjj in sa

your only chance for solid bjj traning in sa is . firstly street tough gym they have really solid purple belts and there coach Matt thornton is very miserly about belts allot of them are at a brown level easily.

youre second best bet is the nowagen bjj club in durban they are not all over but these guys have solid game and have earned my respect

The names that spring to mind in South Africa are Erik Petermann and Ludwig Strydom.

Both are, I believe, in Cape Town.

I have never trained with either of them, but have heard very good things about both.
