Common chronic injury... Mine just flared up while rolling earlier this week.

Can anyone recommend a good brace/splint they have used? I'm looking for something that I can easily put on. There are taping methods but it's a pain and I don't see myself doing it for long if it takes 10 mn before training each time...

Wrestling boots, and play guard instead of top game, hip escape instead of turtling and don't scramble hard for at least 8-12 weeks.

Yeah I've been wanting wrestling shoes for CSW anyway. I do tend to turtle a lot... That's Judo talking. I think I need to take 2-3 weeks off altogether...the swelling is pretty bad. Darn!

Time off helps, as does training around an injury, think longterm gains.

I've never not trained around an injury. Broken thumb., wrist, collarbone. Foot is already starting feeling better. I'm sure I won't miss training.

Only missed one day. It healed fast than I expected. I'm just taping my toes together before class. Pretty easy and cheap...
