    MAP Meet 2013

    When? Saturday 29 June.
    Rough timings:
    1030-11 Admin/Safety/Personal warm ups
    11-12 Session 1, 1215-1315 Session 2, 1400-1500 Session 3, 1515-1615 Session 4.

    Where? High Wycombe Judo Centre.
    http://www.wycombejudocentre.co.uk/

    Main info and payment
    www.mapmeet.co.uk

Why? To learn new stuff, have fun and raise as much money as we can for charity.

What? The plan is to have four 1 hour lesson sessions held in three areas, so there will be 12 classes. The lessons will be separated by rest breaks.

What do I need to do next? Clear the date in your diary. Let all your MA contacts know - you don't have to be a MAP member to take part. Set aside a little cash for the event, the post event socialising, and your transport. Watch for more details.

    It varies. :)

The bigger summer meets have attracted about 50-70 peeps in the past, the most recent one got lower numbers.

The events are open to non mappers and I'm sourcing some non Map instructors from the local area.

Go to my fb page and look up some training dates, or email me for others then. :)

In the meantime, push the event to all your friends!

    But they were a good 25. :)

I'll try to schedule a stay in London with me Mum and pop over on the day I think.

I will post up the instructors once I have a confirmed team. That will be a new thread in the events section and will include information on each instructor. All I can say at the moment is that there will definitely be a lot of talent to learn from.

There will be 15 minute rest breaks where people may be able to play and a lunch break. There will also be some time at the end.

There should be a dedicated "fueds" session where all the tapout and affliction wearers can have at it ;op

you guys should also implement training sessions based on map threads. like, "feeling down? get your demons exorcised with some brazilian jiujitsu chokes".

Only if they wear pink teeshirts or shorts. Similarly, anyone in a Tapout teeshirt or shorts has to assigned some "My Little Pony" time:D

Simon offered to sakki test me with an escrima stick at the last meet.
    I declined.
I didn't want to make him look silly when he missed my head before I'd even rolled away.

I'm trying to think of a witty and/or funny reply but I really can't (unless you count this being either of those things).
There's something there but I can't get a hold of it.
