Very sad news, another childhood hero of mine gone [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtQUePN5y40[/ame]
Absolutely. I genuinely find that scene very moving. Star Trek was a big part of my childhood, and I still watch it occasionally now; it's so sad to hear that he's died. RIP Leonard. Mitch
there's many great scenes in wrath of khan, this is one of them... [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHAOWLhrxhQ"]Spock's Death - Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan - YouTube[/ame] i was 11 when i saw this in the theater. damn near cried. of course now, i would know that there has to be more sequels and that they'd bring spock back to life. but then, as someone who grew up watching those shows on local television, it was pretty heart-breaking.
has anyone ever watched the film 'galaxy quest'? it's a great take on star trek. and i think alan rickman absolutely nails the part. "i was an actor once.." lol
I can't even remember, how long I wanted to be just like Mr. Spock LLAP! 2015 really is a bad year so far.
And now he's off to explore the undiscovered country. I hope he finds the journey well and truly good. Live long and prosper.
There was talk on making a new star trek show and had he been alive he could bring star trek show back to live. Now there is little hope for new star trek show. wikipedia was saying he was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) There is no cure for Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Yeah im not happy they should of all made many more Star Trek movies im going to feel just as sad when Captain Kirk dies.
I was never a huge treckie but I still admired the guy. He captured the imagination of millions and will be sorely missed. His legacy and status as a cult hero will stay though RIP Spock
