Off to see my favourite...actually one of the few Finnish bands I like tonight. The Pistones - Think of all those old Mod-revival, punk bands and Oi! bands that were pretty tuneful (The Jam, The Ruts, C0ck Sparrer etc etc) and you get The Pistones. Depeche Mode - Speak & Spell Debut from a great band. New Life, Dreaming of me, Just Can't get enough.
Mosh pit anyone? Ah they were the days. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8Run-C9qnM"]Crack up 'n' fall to pieces - YouTube[/ame] Also... [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtZo81Ne1JY"]The Meteors - Graveyard Stomp 1981 - YouTube[/ame] I think Bozza Bostik will approve.
Yesterday was the 25th Anniversary of the loss of Freddie Mercury. So, I have - once again - been listening to a lot of Queen. Freddie Mercury was no mere singer. Freddie was a vocal GOD! If I could go back in time and see any act in concert that I never got to see- Queen is in my top three list. Ah, the pit! My home away from home. Getting a bit old though these days...and throwing myself off the stage is not always the most sensible thing to do. But I do enjoy showing the young 'uns a thing or two! I don't know Restless...nice! When I want a bit of Psychobilly then it's these clowns I turn to... Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory Aw the Rap/Rock/Metal of the late 90's. Bought this CD on the strength of 1 hit song, sounds a little dated now. If you need a little musical pump up this will work though. One Step Closer, In The End, Crawling, Forgotten.
I pre-ordered The Stones new blues album Blue & Lonesome. The first three tracks are awesome, can't wait for the rest of the album.
Nickelback. Not my usual style of rock music, but with the Canadian police saying they'll make drunk drivers listen to it, I'm curious.
Meh, switched to "Gaurdians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1" "I-I-I-I-I-I'm hooked on feeling, I'm high on believing"
Soundtrack to "Deadpool." That movie is so naughty, so very, very naughty. But so funny. I know every time I watch it, or even think about it, that I get another day in purgatory, but -- top ten funniest movies EVER. And a great soundtrack, too. "I never going to dance again / guilty feet have got no rhythm" ... Wham!

Live - Throwing Copper These guys struck gold on 2nd CD. Thought they would take off...but they kind of fizzled out. I bought the next few CD's anyway. Lightning Crashes, Selling the drama, All over you, White Discussion, I Alone.
