    Hi new users,
Just a few quick pointers for introducing yourself to the MAP masses:

    What to post
    • What art do you do?
    • What grade are you?
    • Where are you?
    • What other hobbies do you have?
You may want to tell us your real name and your age, but don’t feel as though you are being pushed to.

What not to post here or anywhere else on MAP - Any of these will be edited from your post
    • Your phone-number
    • Your home address
    • Your email address
    • Your Instant Messenger contacts
    • Profanity (swearing) - even in disguise like th*s
    • Advertisements

FAQ - Loads of handy information about the site.

    A few tips

While you may be tempted to use the anonymity of the Internet to "invent" or "embellish" facts about yourself, it is not particularly wise and it is very easy to be found out. There is a good chance that you will be flamed for it, which nobody wants, so please dont do it.

If you make a mistake then quickly move on.
If one of your posts is moderated, or a member of the MOD Team asks you to add or remove detail don't make a big fuss.
Contact a member of the team privately if there is an issue.

Don't make wild claims. It leads to flaming, arguments and petty name calling.
If you make a claim the onus is on you to prove it.

We love it when members post videos, but they will be subject to critique. As long as there are no wild claims you'll be surprised how much support, feedback and suggestions you get to improve your technique.

Although your video will be open to critique we won't allow existing members to make fun of you.
All critique has to be constructive.

If you have any questions about using the MAP forums then please contact a member of the MOD Team.

    They'll be happy to help.
