Here is the premier BJJ event of the year! On December 13th, Eddie Bravo will be holding his fifth EBI tournament. If you have never have heard about EBI, it is the most exciting, interesting grappling tournament that is around. It is submission only, one fifteen minute round and overtime rules which will almost always end in submission. EBI 5 is stacked! Some of the biggest and best names in BJJ are competing. All black belts. You have... Eddie Cummings (EBI champ, multiple time no gi champ, leg lock master) Rani Yahya (ADCC champ, MMA vet, BJJ legend) Denny Prokopos (EBI champ, multiple time no gi champ, Bravo's 1st black belt) Nathan Orchard (Gracie World's champ, MMA vet) Javi Vasquez (Jiu Jitsu vet and UFC vet) Baret Yoshida (Jiu Jitsu and MMA vet) And many more. Big cash payouts, prestige, and the best competing against the best.
If you like that, you should check out Polaris Pro, its a similar set up but without the tournament aspect, and with some Gi matches - [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g30XUvRUXAk"]Polaris Pro BJJ Highlights - YouTube[/ame]
I love Polaris too! It seems like EBI right now is at the top of the pro BJJ train. They constantly get the best competitors and have high payouts. EBI and Polaris are great for the art.
Who does everyone think will take this prestigious tournament? I personally have my money on Cummings or Yahya taking the whole thing.
