    It's official!

Later this year Ruth & I are both going to Thailand for a month long training camp to hone our Muay Thai skills with the Thai's & hopefully, if fitness is on our side, fight under full Thai rules!!!

    Excited is an understatement! :D

My ex-taijitsu teacher went with his girlfriend to do that too... he enjoyed it a lot. You do have to be in a good physical condition, though.

You definitely do. Fortunately I'm getting as much training in between now and then to prepare myself.

What does your pre-camp training look like, if you don't mind me asking? :)

I'm training three times a week at Thai-Tanium in Leicester, including at least one private session. I'm also running & skipping 5 times a week and doing Insanity twice a week. Got a few interclubs lined up for hard sparring against some decent quality lads also. My technique is generally fine. It's more shaking off cobwebs, fitness, clinch & sparring focused in general.

So I didn't get to fight due to the King's death but I did get a solid month of training in alongside some talented fighters. Was a great experience.
