    Yesterday'

Swimming at the Y, which was rather interesting since I cannot use my legs due to knee issues, and I have learned how to swim without using them, but add to that a rather sore and arthritic shoulder and it becomes rather difficult, neigh impossible, for anything but an Elementary Backstroke without using your legs. I was able to only get about 4 laps.

Xue, is the Fajin form you are doing Yang style? Or another style?

Yang style, but you will only find it in a Tung Ying Chieh lineage.

    Full situps

    In the Evening

Right knee and hip bothering me a little today but taking the whole self-imposed limits thing into consideration, I am not yet sure if that is a good thing or bad thing.

No training this morning, had a dentist appointment.... But because of that I am going to treat myself and go to one of the best Chinese Restaurants in my are (and there are only 3 that are any good) for lunch today

I'm old so I do old school stuff, sit-ups, push ups, jumping jacks, some light weight training, etc.

Which brings me to, my injury induced sedentary life style has left me a wimp. My shoulders get to darn tired to darn quick... I need to work on this

Well. based on the discovery that I am a wimp, I changed things last night.

    A light warm-up I got from Engine2 - Exercise & Stretch
Spent 30 minutes working exclusively on arms and shoulders - dumbbells
Drilled heel kicks, not to many, only about 20 per leg
Front snap kick, 10 per leg (Damn I'm stiff)
    Also Baduanjin
no Taiji and no Xingyi yesterday

Peace has been declared....but there are 5 days left in the visit so hostilities could resurface at anytime

Been 6 or 7 years I have been dealing with injuries, crutches, cane, ridged knee braces. Started with a broken ankle, then torn meniscus in one knee then bruised joint and possible meniscus tear in another and from this came arthritis in both knees and one hip. 2 years ago I tried to ride a bike, wearing knee braces, and I cold not do it. My knees absolutely could not take it. Today, in braces, I took a 1 mile ride and I feel great.

Other than that did some light weights focusing on chest and back.
