Have this stuck in my head right now: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyYA8FlfBd0"]Ghost - Square Hammer - YouTube[/ame]
I was supposed to go and see Ghost a couple of months ago but forgot they were playing...How does that happen? Got the riff from this stuck in my head. Maybe appropriate for this time of year. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEUs-d6FCB0"]Electric Wizard - Witchcult Today - YouTube[/ame]
Nice! I was left a bit cold by the stoner revival of the late 90's and early naughties, but there are some pretty cool bands slopping up some fine sludge now [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7oCHIEy8is"]Acid King - Infinite Skies - YouTube[/ame]
Acid King are excellent! Yeah, I quite like a bit of doom, stoner and sludge now and again but it can get a bit silly at times though with bands playing stupidly long songs and trying to be as heavy and doom as possible...all a bit too contrived. "Slopping up some fine sludge" - I like that! I saw a band called Dopethrone a few weeks back, nasty sludge from Canada. Their last album, Hochelaga, is a lovely, dirty racket with a slight touch of blues!
Led Zeppelin - Days of Rock and Roll Vol. I A homemade CD a friend made for me some years back of songs I didn't have on other Zep discs, and some solo Plant. Traveling riverside Blues, Hey Hey what can I do, heartbreaker, Livin, Lovin maid, All My Love, Dancin Days, In the Evening, Tangerine, The Song Remains the Same, D'yer Mak'er, Burning Down One Side, Immigrant Song, Pledge Pin, Moby Dick, Going to California
Austin James - Full Throttle Local boy(Lodi,Ca.) makes good on country rock debut CD. Full of what I call "cliché country" but as good as any other new country music on the radio. Overall, a pretty good CD.

Love the drumming of William Goldsmith. Cranking this up on a good stereo will really kick ya in the b hole. In my 4Runner it sounds like you're sitting in front of the drum set. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAotWVmVRS4"]Sunny Day Real Estate - Seven [OFFICIAL VIDEO] - YouTube[/ame]

Neil Peart is out of this world good. Here's an oldy but a goody with Peart on the drums. I've always like the pitter-patter rolling drum beats he does like in this song... [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UU62UcP_BA"]Rush - By-Tor And The Snow Dog - YouTube[/ame]

I've seen the film Kingsman The Secret Service far too many times now that I have a couple of songs from the soundtrack on my current Spotify playlist. The first is Dire Straits: Mony for Nothing and the second Lynard Skynard - Free Bird. I'd add the scene from the film but there's quite a bit too much bloodshed in the scene for this site! Death With a Dagger. Great metal punk from Finland - think NWOBHM crossed with UK82 and throw in a bit of Hawkwind.
