Hello everyone, as I have read a lot of posts the last month I decided to join the community. So about me. I have trained different Martial Arts since 1997. I trained Jeet Kune Do (JKD) Kung Fu Kickboxing Jiu Jitsu Mixed Martial Arts Martial Arts Tricking / Extreme Martial Arts (XMA) I think the easiest way to present myself is to show you our YouTube Channel from me and my team: https://www.youtube.com/user/Sputty101/ Best Regards
Hey man! I've tried getting into some tricking myself, though I haven't gotten far. Before I had to leave training at the Kajukenbo school I attended, I was working on getting an actual 720 down. If you're familiar with guys from Loopkicks such as Catura brothers, James Solis, I'm friends with a couple of those guys. How's tricking going? It's as much a mental game as physical.
I love/hate tricking. I love it because I think it's a beautiful sport performed by some of the most talented athletes in the world. I also sort of hate it right now because it had me laid up on my ass for 2 months with a cast on my foot after I blew my achilles tendon trying to land a raiz. Determined to jump back on the saddle when I'm strong again. But enough about me. Welcome and enjoy your stay!
We wouldn't usually allow links back to personal sites, but in this instance I'm going to leave it up to help make sense of my next comment. Keep your guard up. If you have really done the arts you say you have you'll know sometimes people hit back.
Nice choreography in the 4th video. I actually liked that one. The speed training one on the other hand..... welcome aboard.

I don't really agree with standing square on and arm punching, but it's cool. The Chun features prominently in many people's JKD (although I've always been more impressed with the picking and crashing to the clinch some take from it) and I can live with that. But if you're going to do it, you really ought to tuck your chin. Also, if it is the Chun, it looks like the centerline is wide open during those flurries, and when you're committed to a barrage like that, it's much more difficult to feel and react to counter attacks. I'm thinking a slip and overhand down the middle or a shot. But seriously, tuck your chin.
Thanks a lot for your comments! There are always things to improve. And I continue working on them. JKD: its Ted Wong lineage. So Tommy is not far away from that.
if you look at the build on flatley, he could probably kick (literally) most "martial artists'" behinds.
Yeah, I tried predicting UFC fights like that when I was a newbie MAist and also new to watching MMA. It didn't work. Good thing I wasn't betting any cash.
