I'm going to be fighting in my first main event. Should be interesting. I'm going to train like an absolute monster. Winner gets a return ticket to Thailand. So there is no way I'm losing this. I'd actually rather die.
Awesome, Chadderz. How long before the fight. Can you train around work, or will you take some time off.
That is awesome news! I look forward to hearing all about it during the lead up and the actual fight.
(sigh) Part of me is envious. Would that I had that freedom -- 2 days of work, and do martial arts the rest of the time! But best of luck to you!! In a couple years when you're in the UFC or something like that, we'll say, "Ya, I knew him when he wasn't famous."
Yaaaah man. Just want to fight consistently so that I'm only fighting and training to fight. I don't think I'm going to worry too much about my record when I turn pro. I just want to say that I lived as a pro fighter for a few years. Then I'm going to open my own gym. I'd like to get into Cage Warriors or BAMMA at least though.
£50 a month for training, boxing is £4 every time I visit on a good week twice a week, that's £8. So you're talking £82? On top of bus fair which is the killer. I've got a bike but it's s pain to cycle to boxing, the n to training, then home. Then get up at 5 am to cycle to work.
