Let's say money's no object, which gyms would you like to train at for a week or so each, and why? Marcelo in NY? Atos? Kron in California? Are there legendary gyms in Brazil you'd try?

Keep it to three, if you can.

My BJJ friends all rave about Roger Gracie in London, and Marcelo in NYC.

Roger's a doable trip for me, too. I've heard great things.

As far as I know, Rickson still teaches at Kron's gym every now and then. That'd be unreal.

I have been to London Shootfighters a few times and the BJJ classes looked very good.

Marcelos would be amazing. John Danahaer and Eddie Bravo would be fun too. If I was doing a tour.

Erik Paulsons is another although technically that is submission wrestling and not bjj.

Marcel Louzado - i have trained with him in Cali several times and his ability to instruct is next level, plus his knowledge of Judo and Wrestling is also world class making a terrifying grappling machine!

Jack McVicker - Jack is simply incredible as a coach and competitor

    Rickson - because Rickson

    honorable mention:

Danaher - Never ceases to amaze me with his understanding

Any BJJ gym if they had classes that wouldn't end with me going home at 11pm every night.
post work classes would be good.

    fyi...

i was in san diego over xmas break and trained at the university of jj once--sadly, only once as kids' and parents' holiday plans prevented more.

great facility. the teaching was superlative. stand-up and ground covered, and the sparring against the students was intense.

highly recommended if you are in san diego. sadly, i did not get to meet saulo or xande.

Mushroom De-powered to come back better than before.

I went to Renzo Gracie in NYC, tried to meet up with Mattt but I think we just missed each other. Didn't get to roll as I think I rocked up at the wrong time. I was also asked what Prof. I was under etc, and I answered honestly.

My current MMA coach is a Brown Belt under Roger Gracie. I'm donning the Gi for the first time this year, so will see.

    My list would be
    10th Planet
    Gracie Academy - RdJ

There are others but can't think of them right now.
