Common sense. The majority of self defence has nothing to do with fighting. Preventing, avoiding, diffusing, and escaping situations are all far more useful self defence tools than fighting skills.

Krav Maga is the best self-defence form. It's definitely true, because they say so. Some places will even teach tactical nose-picking.

Ahahah run fu is great if you have a good legs )) I like Krav Maga i think For sure one of the Best for selfdefence and i think Wing chun too is great what do you think ?
I think they tend to have good advertising. That does not necessarily mean you are going to get good quality training for appropriate self defence in either of those styles. If you are new to MA you won't necessarily have the ability to judge whether what anyone is teaching is good for self defence (and depending upon what you train in that could still be the same in 30 years time), so if SD is your primary training interest judge clubs you are looking at on the question of 'Does this group look as if they are going to teach me how to avoid a)violence and b) jail following any physical altercation.".
Totally agree. but there are "aspects" of Self Defense. I like this thread; http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6395&highlight=kick+chick
