Does anyone do something where you have a rope in a pulley on the ceiling and one end is strapped to an ankle and the other end you can grip with hands to pull down and force your leg up?
I tried it with a rope over a tree branch many moons ago. After explaining to the police that I wasn't feeling suicidal I was told it was a bad idea for knees, hips and the lower back so I didn't bother pursuing it. I would be interested to know if it works from someone in the know about these things though.
