I love that album, His new release is a solo cover album again too!

His most recent book is excellent too, if you like evolutionary biology mixed with punk and politics.

    It's a good album.

I'e seen the book and been meaning to read it. I dunno if Graffin and Bad Religion can be still considered punk though...I have to consult the elders and the punk police.

If the sex pistols were punk (a manufactored group) then surely BR are...
especially given the state of the US nowadays!

The Pistols were a boy band...an ugly and fairly decent one at that, but a boy band all the same.

Some of the best stuff came out in the Reagan (and Thatcher) years and people are saying the Trump years will see a whole bunch of great new bands, but it's a different era and different generation and ignores the fact that there has been some great and political bands releasing stuff over the past few years anyway.

I should pick up that book actually...

    Live - Secret Samadhi
After the success of their first two cd's I really thought these guys were gonna take off big time. This third release was not a commercial hit but still a lot of good music. Lakini's Juice, Turn My Head, Rattlesnake, Ghost. Even though Live's popularity dwindled I still bought their next several CD's and was never disappointed.

Great CD from 1988. These guys did a good job of blending rock, funk, soul... Cult of personality, Glamour Boys, Open Letter(to a landlord, Middle Man.

The soundtrack for Planet Earth 2 on Spotify. I thought when I watched the series that the music made it even more impressive (Americans, you only have a month left to wait for it) and listening to Hans Zimmer's work you can, on the Sloth track, "hear" the smile on the sloth's face as he's swimming along.

Depeche Mode - People Are People
Collection of songs from first 3 DM releases and some new( at the time) songs. People Are People, Told You So, Get The Balance Right, Work Hard. This CD does a nice job of capturing the early DM sound.
