Too many to mention. Find "Bored - Naked Clip" on youtube. Not really a scene so much, but my favourite bit from a film and always relevant. A cleaned up version: Louise: So what happened, were you bored in Manchester? Johnny: Was I bored? No, I wasn't bored. I'm never bored. That's the trouble with everybody - you're all so bored. You've had nature explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the living body explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the universe explained to you and you're bored with it, so now you want cheap thrills and, like, plenty of them, and it doesn't matter how tawdry or vacuous they are as long as it's new as long as it's new as long as it flashes and bleeps in forty different colours. So whatever else you can say about me, I'm not bored. And also from Naked "Johnny and Archie (and Maggie)". Hilarious scene and fantastic lines. Also look for Dead Man's Shoes with one of the best actors from the UK, Paddy Considine. He's doing a boxing film at the moment, so I am sure everyone will decide he's awesome after that. Dead Man's Shoes What you looking at? Scene. Dead Mans Shoes Movie Greatest Threat Ever!!! (Works better when you see the whole film...some of the movement of the actors makes a lot more sense too - hard to describe without giving away major spoilers).
There is a scene in the film Elizabeth (1998) I can't find it on youtube but to quote the film: 'There is so little beauty in this world, and so much suffering. Do you suppose that is what God had in mind?' Then Geofrey rush says: When you lose your innocence you lose your soul?
The 'What you looking at?' scene, has got to be one of my all time favourite scene from ANY movie, and is one that I often reference in class, when covering a session on posturing during a verbal confrontation. Love It! Travess
Very early in my youth. God of Gamblers. Starring Chow Yun Fat. He kneels down and theres a lady in traditional Japanese dress (yukata?). She pulls down part of her dress off her shoulder and slips her arm out, revealing a Yakuza tattooed sleeve which hints that it goes around the chest area too. She has this crazy look in her eye and all they're going to do is play a game of dice in front of like 10 people. Is awesome.
Oh wow, so many.... I love the "You are gonna need a bigger boat" scene in Jaws - first real shot of the shark and the fact it was improvised makes it all the better The "Hospital corridor" scene from Exorcist 3 - still one the scariest ever shot And of course the greatest fight scene ever filmed [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzGUr15P7Tk"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzGUr15P7Tk[/ame]

I rewatched Jaws a bit back. I forgot how bloody good it is. What compared to the fight scenes in Scum?!?!? The snooker ball in the sock and "Where's your tool?"
It's pretty intense. The Youtube clip doesn't give it justice. Then you finish the film... Spoiler ...and see how unhinged Paddy's character is and the fact that his brother is all in his head... ...and then the scene is seen in new light.
Not exactly a classic, but to this day, one of my all time favorite scenes / lines is uttered by George Clooney, in the closing scenes of "From dusk till dawn" Clooney: "Psychos? Did they look like psychos to you? Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a **Monkeys** how crazy they are!!!" It is definitely a revelation / realisation that only improves what is already a great film - I have logged quite few sittings of the little gem, and it never loses any of its 'shine' Anything, EVERYTHING in fact, that involved Chan and Urquidez exchanging blows on screen, is absolute gold, It's just a shame that there is only 2 main scenes to choose from. Regards Travess
So much real life profound wisdom is in this scene, which comes from the books. Discussions of people passing life and death judgments on others and what that means. Discussions of facing adversity you wish hadn't come to you......... The adaption of this from the books was just so brilliantly well done. I just love it! nope not seen it i'll dl it. It looks quite intense, not the best film before bed. I'll watch alice and wonderland again.
Is that the scene where he's handcuffed to a chair and talking with his family? I can't find the family scene on YouTube, but ... wow. I haven't seen that movie in forever, but I remember that scene. It'd be my candidate for this list. Another: In "Unforgiven" when the kid regrets the killing, and gives up his share of the reward money. He's sitting under a tree trying to drown his pain with whiskey. It brings home the theme of being unforgiven. And for those of us who remember it in the theater ... "Luke, I'm your father." And for something much happier -- Indiana Jones, first movie, running from the boulder and then running across the field to his airplane. "Start the engine! Start the engine!" And later when the shoots the guy with swords.
