http://www.bartitsu.org/index.php/2017/02/congratulations-to-the-winners-of-the-bartitsu-sparring-video-competition/ The winners of the international Bartitsu Sparring Video Compeition have now been announced: Second place ($US500 prize) - Santiago Stickfighting Club (Santiago, Chile) for a series of 4 videos. First place (US$1000 prize) - Waterloo Sparring Group (London, England) for a compilation video. The competition was open to martial artists and combat sport athletes of all styles, with the object of testing a set of sparring guidelines based on the original mix of styles practiced at the Bartitsu Club in London circa 1901. The stickfighting style uses a 36" long rattan cane with a weighted head (originally a steel ball, simulated by a solid rubber ball for relatively safe sparring), with the rules also allowing unarmed striking and takedowns/grappling.
