You know, the ones outside the pelvis across the hip bone and down the front of the seam at the top of the leg? Those ones aren't budging much on the left side, and it seems to be bugging my lower back on that side and the top of the leg, not entirely sure how to stretch that out, so if anyone has ideas I'd appreciate it
With the back pain my betting is it's the psoas muscles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psoas_major_muscle http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-the-psoas-muscle.htm http://www.bowen.asn.au/bowen-therapy/articles/psoas-muscle-and-back-pain/ All of Sam Visnic's videos are good. This recommendation is only based on my experience with this type of pain and doesn't replace the recommendation of a physio. This is my favourite psoas stretch, again from Sam Visnic. The pelvic tilt here is really important. If you can lean forward a long way you've not activated the pelvic tilt before the stretch. Awesome stretch. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQmpO9VT2X4&list=UUlzkKoa0vjYRHi9JWB98liA"]Hip Flexor Stretch - Done Correctly - YouTube[/ame]
