Motoha Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu, 2016 British Taikai with Yasumoto Akiyoshi Soke

We will be holding this years Taikai in Aldershot, Hampshire, UK, and I would like to invite you to join us for open training on Saturday 4th June, regardless of affiliation.

Motoha Yoshin Ryu, is a Menkyo Kaiden branch of the Hontai Yoshin Ryu, Takagi Ryu line. Yasumoto Soke was a direct student of and received Menkyo Kaiden from the 17th Soke, Minaki Saburoji.

Most people will be familiar with Soke from these Hontai Yoshin Ryu videos from back in the 80's, seen demonstrating kata with the current Soke of Hontai Yoshin Ryu.

This is a fantastic opportunity to train under such an amazing martial arts teacher!
