So there I was in the dentists with my kids so picked up a copy of the June National Geographic to pass the time and within is a Ninja called Izo Ichikawa, sixth generation Ninja. Is this the same as Jinichi Ichikawa.
Doesn't appear to be so. Your google-fu has weakened lately garth. According to the article, it is this newer place in Kyoto. I never make it out to Kansai these days so I haven't checked them out but it seems fishy. Not related to the Jinichi Kawakami(unless that wasn't a typo and you meant Jinichi Ichikawa-in which case it could be the same guy) camp from what I've heard. http://www.natgeotraveller.co.uk/destinations/asia/japan/top-5-made-in-japan/ http://www.ninjadojoandstore.com
Yep my Google Fu has weakened. Dont spend much time on internet nowadays. Too busy. Would have had a more in depth look yesterday but with working and my son breaking his wrist in two places didnt have time.
Haha, that made me think of of Ichikawa Raizo, the star of Shinobi no Mono (a jidaigeki film for which Takamatsu sensei was apparently the martial arts advisor)?
