Does anyone have any links to sites that have the korean terms (along with the english). My instructor says i will pick it up but id rather learn it off by heart. thanks
http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15903 There's several links in there, but generally try and stick to one source, as there are variations in the translation from Korean to English. Hope that helps.
www.tagb.net has a good english to korean pdf to download. in the training material section..It also has general terms that are used in WTF and other korean arts
Turtle Press has an audio CD featuring Master Sang Kim pronouncing Taekwondo terminology. Go to www.turtlepress.com where you can find the contents to the CD which is a good reference from English to Korean. Miles
http://www.jfreer-taekwondo.com/ has a testy thing on, where it'll ask you questions depending on your grade about terminology you should know was useful for me!

i was under saying those under my breath in the uni common room. then came to that one. got a few funny looks
I like http://www.blackbeltschools.com/syllabus/tkd.asp. It has terminology for 10th kup to 5th Dan, pattern description from 10th kup to 5th Dan and a korean test. Its mainly for TAGB but i use it and im BUTF (in other words not TAGB). However I guess all this stuff only applies if you do ITF TKD or a something similar to that.
does anybody know where you can learn... ...some basic korean writing that is not TKD related please note that I said writing, as I am fine with the speaking I know already.
