    Hi,

I’d like to study silat: I’m aware Alvin Guinanao was a student of Steve Benitez – would anyone happen to know however whether the silat they now teach is similar or have they moved in different directions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Silat training

    Hi cross trainer.
In answer to your question yes Alvin and steve went their seperate ways in 2010. If you would like to train with Alvin or Steve try there websites
    Satria arts for steve Benitez
    Silat open circle for Alvin
Both instructors are on face book and actively teaching.....
    Hope this helps....

    This is great!

Judo333, please review MAP's terms of service regarding posting the same content across multiple threads. Also, if you're going to link videos, please write a little more about WHY it's great. One-liners like this just make it look like you're advertising the video and nothing more. We want technical discussion.

I would also recommend that You get a hold of Glenn Lobo who is also located in the UK.. He teaches Lincah silat and is the official representative for the Malaysian organization that oversees the Lincah system.. He is also located on FB
