Just saw a similar thread on BB forum. The goal is to pump out 1,000,000 pull-ups by MAP members by the end of the world. Any variation of pull-ups and chin-ups can be used (parallel grip, alt. grip, one hand, rope, etc, etc). Horizontal pull-ups and lat pulldowns do not count. Can we do this? Since it's 2am Sunday Jan 16th where I'm at right now, the official starting date will be January 15th, 2011 and it will run until December 21, 2012. So let's start with 5 x 10 = 50 *When replying, take the last count and add your number of pull-ups/chinups.
THAT idea is awesome, I'll get to it tomorrow. I did a million of my own yesterday but I guess that doesnt count?

Ok... count me in... it's Sunday Jan 15th @ 7:34pm here in Hong Kong. I only had two PT's today and I easily knocked 5 sets of 10 pressups with the pound between me and the client between each one.. So that 50 from Slip... this week is hella busy... so I'll defo post up again. IGNORE this post peeps... please refer to my later post where I've actually switched my brain on and posted my chins count... NOT my press ups count. lol
Pull-ups not press-ups. Maybe a running count on both. Press-ups are certainly more convenient in a hotel room
Doh! Details... I tell ya... details. :bang: Ok scratch that... then in that case... it was 3 sets of six assisted chins for my client and 3 sets of chins (palms away, dead hang start to sternum chins) X6 reps. 18 chins total for Sunday.
