She sounds like a pregnant woman going into labour. Quite painful to listen to, where's an epidural injction you need one?
If I were getting into a fight with that chick, and she just started doing that mess, I wouldn't fight her 0_0 If I were dating her and she invited me to see that, I would break up with her. That's like . . . . what would come out during arguments when she wants her way. You don't mess with that kind of crazy.
Is that a cross in the right side of the screen? Looks like a big white cross......... If so, is this one of those certain evangelical Christians using MA's to get people into their religion thing? On a completely different note. I wonder what schools who teach this say about it. Why do they teach this extreme screaming? What purpose to they say it serves? And do the students do this when sparring?
I can't believe they even let her start performing her kata wearing a wrist-watch and earrings. It was all downhill from there.
Aside from the bowel loosening, rage screaming that sounds like a mandrill in mating season... What possible excuse could there be for the white knuckle levels of tension involved in almost every movement. That seems like a much larger issue. Not as funny though admittedly. Seems like they have been coached to look and act as powerful as possible whilst moving in a way that ensures maximum weakness. Drive their lifless corpses into the soil and let their blood splatter the clover.
And cue a bad case of vocal nodules in....3...2...1. This is what you get when you judge something by the wrong success criteria (external appearance of the kata) rather than the proper criteria (what combat and self defence tactics, techniques and skills can you draw from the kata). Which in turn is what you get when the overall success criteria (how well you do in a real self defence scenario) is diminished.
She certainly has won, though I don't know if that performance did. Worth noting that it might be a winning "kata" in some environments, but definitely not in others. She is obviously a skilled and dedicated practitioner of her chosen discipline, but as she says here it's dance not karate. http://www.atvn.org/news/2012/10/farrahs-first-years-sarah-calande Mitch
its not about healing constipation, its about healing the body. Constipation is a signal of something happening, especiallity in your diet, and consequently in your emotions remove all bad foods like gluten, and eat vegetables
I like the body mechanics in in this form, the relaxation of the shoulders, the balancing of antagonistic muscle groups, and the spiral stretching. All very similar to the hung gar iron wire form. In our Iron wire we also have sounds/ emotions/ and tension, but they are balanced and about getting the breath, the muscles and the autonomic / endocrine systems working together. They are not as random as shown in the original post. This said, sometimes having a good old fahsiond hissy fit helps let it all out.
Is this where they go the baddie from kung fu panda 2 ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUG3et0k39Q Both aesthetic and loaded with good mechanics - the art in the martial
Good heavens.Even the Karate folks have jumped on the stupid fan form bandwagon. The price we pay for modern Wu Shu continues to grow.
This is why i stay silent when i do martial art things past now and then when you can actually hear me breath out with the "pffssst" thing. Saves me the humiliation of being recorded. Cna confirms Kata/Form doesnt work for constipation though. We should dedicate a thread to these videos, would be a pretty funny thread.
The NASKA circuit is a joke when it comes to kata. Which is a shame because the sparring divisions are chock full with great fighters.
