    Hey folks,

Could you kindly give me a recommendation for a quality London Judo school? If you can be bothered adding a description, experience, etc, that would be much appreciated. It's for a good friend of mine who would like to get in to this style.

    Many thanks!

The Budokwai. It's like the British Shaolin Temple...except actual martial artists train there.

The coaches include an Olympic Silver Medallist and a raft of national champions from home and abroad.

It's a bit more expensive than Judo normally is, but they have their own building, and it's London, and they have more 7th Dans than some countries.

definitely Budokwai but also Stars gym Wednesdays 8 pm class taught by Jonathon Purssey a double commonwealth champion and a very good teacher.

He also teaches a short "Judo for BJJ class" on Mondays at Kingston BJJ.

This place is pretty good considering how much they charge.
