I haven't tried that, but my initial reaction on seeing the clip is that I would worry that my running shoes would be too tight! I normally lace them up slightly loose because I know that as my feet get hot they swell slightly, so I allow them a bit of room. Your thoughts?

They are a bit on the tight side. But I didn't want anything sloppy for kicking in. And most footwear tends to 'give' quite a bit over time.
