    This thread is a place to collect all the vid clips we've been lucky enough to see pop up in recent years of people training with the traditional Chinese Stone Lock (石锁).
    Anyone with insight, articles or more vids is welcome to post. I'll start it off:

    1) Stone Locks demonstated by Coach Liu Haoxue - Beijing:

    2) Stone Lock workout (in Mandarin) as taught by Wang Wenyong

    Probably one of the best clips of Stone Lock work to date. The entire DVD is stunning.

    More beautiful, supple, powerful movement using stone locks.

    Odd comment here perhaps, but the 2nd vid shows the exact movement for Bagua's "removing helmet from behind the head" and brings to light the real potential to be found in Bagua when studied correctly.

    Shuai jiao is right there in the 8 palm changes of Bagua (Jiang Rong Jiao). Reaching around and taking someone over your shoulder by their neck is near impossible (with high resistance) without conditioning, and that conditioning in vid 2 certainly would up the success rate of technique application lol.

    5) Stone Lock training in the park
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1WM6RUQxd4&feature=related"]YouTube- A Chinese form of Kettlebell training[/ame]

    The video clip has been labeled 'Chinese Kettlebell training' which is sort of... meh. Yes the movements are similar and the implement is similar. But many of the moves done with the stone lock are unique to Chinese stone lock training because of it's background in Shuai Jiao.

    Not entirely sure who this is but I've seen more of this instructional around. As I get the info I'll post it. He movement is not nearly as fluid nor as supple as the others posted here... but the guy is much older (perhaps a contemporary of Wang Wengyong) so he could be well up in years when this was shot.

    Ok not sure who Mr. Lim is or what style he trains but he gives us his take on the stone lock.

    A news feature in Mandarin about stone lock training. I will attempt to translate this one into English tonight. It's probably not going to be anything ground breaking in terms of information... but will be good to know what's being said.
