http://www.bjjee.com/articles/exposed-2-fake-brazilian-jiu-jitsu-black-belts-in-croatia-serbia/ serbian and croatian fake blackbelts in the news - this looks like the same fellows niinpo said he beat.
i think looking at the clip anyone with any grappling knowledge knows that wasn't a BJJ blue belt he was with, let alone a black belt
nothing wrong with rocking the tapout look but not arm barring someone when they push at you from mount, being bridged off where there's no real bridge? not having any hip movement from the bottom what so ever? That is sort of a giveaway
its ok for those of us who were competing back before tapout existed to rock the look hannibal dont worry
The guys we trained with were: Strong Combat Jutsu from Novi Sad The lead instructor is: Slavko Sekulic I highly recommend anyone to train with them if you get an opportunity - they really are very good! Can we put Facebook link on MAP? https://www.facebook.com/strongcombatjitsu.tao Oh and I couldn't get any near the instructor, he was way too good!
This him? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xpvihstu2L4"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xpvihstu2L4[/ame]
Nothing particularly special about any of that - except who lets someone put their hands around your throat before you react?
To be fair that is not an uncommon demo technique in many systems - i think Rickson and Royler demo that one too [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hd6fXryCjiM"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hd6fXryCjiM[/ame]
@holyheadjch - an abusive parent to a teenager. I don't know if you've had the prospect of having to choose possibly triggering a situation between you and your mentally ill father (who's care you're under before anyone realise how bad it had gotten) and letting it just happen. Theres drama in life too
Yes I have, 5 years ago - was very impressed, is a chap that I think most of you know, Simon Yeo, (as it happens we are good friends, went to same school and had same Judo instructor for a while and he is also Buj) was an informal spur of the moment thing, first time I grappled in 25 years and was surprised how different from judo and how things have progressed, in the judo days we tried to avoid being on our backs whereas he was quite happy to lock my arm and choke me from on his back. Was good fun, learning experience, I learnt not to fight BJJ guys on the ground, :0) , and I still maintain rolling around on the floor is not necessarily good practice for a real self-defence point of view, but I do recommend training with as many fighters as possible - to learn how they fight.
