:D Cake. Cake? Oh MAN I Love the CAKE! :D

I'm going to gay Paris for my Birthday this weekend and wanted to bring back one of the famous fantastic cakes *droooooooooooool*

Although I am unsure as to weather HM /Customs will let me bring it back?

I had a look and there appears to be something about not being allowed to bring seeds/nuts back, and I think fruit aswell.

But Cake?

Has anyone brought a cake home that might be able to help?

Ring the airline.

oui, c'est une patisserie.

mmmmm Cake!
my wife was telling me how fantastic the cakes are, so it's going to have to be transported back to share with some people who haven't tasted their delights yet.

thanks Coma thats good to know, I won't be bringing back more than 1 (maybe 2 and eat one on the plane) might give Air France a ring also incase they say "non monsieur, votre mere et une hamstere"

all this talk of food has made me hungry now!

Yeah I brought in all kinds of cakes and goodies from Hong Kong many times over. I think they frown on meat as ages ago my family would bring back loads of "lak churng" which is like a dried sausage thingy but now they're not allowed to bring them over.

Bring me back a Toblerone, thanks.

marvellous, sounds good to me. I am quite happy to eat it all if they say non.

am looking forward to the holiday not been to Paris before.
I will be ordering un tres grande bier and probably spending the next few days dusting off my (lame) gcse french skills
all I can remember at the moment is:
"Votre mère était une hamster et votre père avait l'odeur des baies de sureau."

If i could bring more back you could all have some, but I think it might melt/mould in the post... or strangley dissappear
