Dojo Tetsu Ryu Ninjutsu?

I've just been Googling for some information on Japanese gardens of all things and ended up finding this website.

http://www.dojotetsuryu.com/

The instructor's bio page is interesting.

http://www.dojotetsuryu.com/schoolfo...structors.html

Quote:
At age nine, he began to study Tetsu Ryu Ninjutsu under the instruction of Soke Hitoshi Takeyama who was the 23rd head of the Takeyama Ryu system of Ninjutsu, which was renamed four generations prior, when other systems were incorporated with the Takeyama system of Ninjutsu. The result of which was Tetsu Ryu (Iron Dragon) Ninjutsu.
Anybody recognise him?

Seems to have a link to the Genbukan. But it is just a link.

A quick search on the "Soke Hitoshi Takeyama" came up with this:

http://wwwsoc.nii.ac.jp/jbiochem/jbs2005/N310AU.HTM

It would seem that Hitoshi Takeyama is a scientist in microbiology.

More than a link..

'Information on this page was adapted with permission from www.NINPO.org.'

They sought permission to use the information implying some form of contact there.

Maybe the Genbukan on the forum might have more info or find out.

Hmm, he does mention links to the Genbukan but that doesn't mean he *has* links to that organisation.

Interestingly:-
Quote:
Renshi Rackley is a Founding Council Member of the International Combat Martial Arts Society (I.C.M.A.S) and an Associate Member of the International Counter Terrorism Officers Association (I.C.T.O.A). He has undergone training in special weapons tactics, urban combat and warfare, surveillance, counter surveillance, stress management and threat assessment.
A quick Google found nothing pertaining to the "International Combat Martial Arts Society".

I did find the website for the "International Counter Terrorism Officers Association".

I notice that he also links to the National Intelligence Agency

I could be mistaken but I sense that this gentleman wishes he was Snake Eyes. He's even got a forearm tattoo.

I know that but if i was asked permission to use information from my website i would check out where the information was going.

I doubt in the Genbukan has any offical links with it.

Sorry, you're right of course. I should have been a little clearer. What I meant to say was that just because he claims he has used some information with permission doesn't mean that he actually *had* that permission. Most people who see something like that will assume it is genuine and ask no further questions. As you said earlier, perhaps our Genbukan friends here on MAP could shed some light on that particular issue.

Two funny things. The ICTOA is something that just about anyone can join. You get a lot of "groupies" that join these types of orgs becasue it sounds cool.

The NIA is a pirvate security company. From their website, they basically provide low level security guards it looks like. They just gave themselves a cool name in the post 9-11 world. If you want a good laugh, read the bio for their "military contracts" guy.

No mate, the soke was the Hard Master until Zartan killed him, framing Storm Shadow in the process and thus...

I need to get out more.
