Patangi Karit (White Butterfly)
i have been researching Patangi Karit (White Butterfly). On martial arts talk (another forum) i found it is a component or style of silat. if anyone here could help it would be appreciated.
I am seeking: 1. orign 2. description 3. application video would be wonderful, but I have failed in finding any... maybe I am not searching the right key words... any help is appreciated.. |

Hi,
I can't tell you much but patangi karit is not a term in Bahasa Indonesian or Javanese. White butterfly would be kupu-kupu putih, which could be interpreted in a very different manner! However, my wife thinks that it could be a Betawi or Sunda term, so it could conceivably be a West Jawa style. You may be able to find someone on this forum familiar with West Jawa styles who can help, as they do seem to be some of the most popular styles. Sorry I can't help. |
