New Journal Issues / Questions

Post any issues or questions relating to the new journal in this thread.

 

The list of Journals down the right, where they used to have the most viewed journals etc, who does that list? Because Kwaji's journal isn't there, and I was hoping to read it. Are they only the most recently updated ones but in alphabetical order?

 

yes - it only shows journals updated recently (I thought this was within last 30 days, but 'Kwanji's' journal was updated 2 days ago)

Have checked the code - It shows journals which have been updated in the last 28 days, as long as they have been updated on the new journal system.

Have changed the logic slightly to also show 'popular' journals. (over 400 views).

 

Is anyone elses computer not showing the "get journal" button...might just be this cruddy school computer i'm on, but i don't see it anywhere

 

CD, I thought you were missing something obvious, but you are quite correct. There is no 'get a journal' button. I'll add this ASAP.

Also, the old journal used to say how many times each journal entry had been comemted on. Would it be possible to bring that back? That way, you don't have to click discuss to see if someone has comented. Please?

I notice that the comment count for individual journal entries often reads "0", even when there are some comments. ???

 

Some body likes HKF I think.....no names but it starts with BG....

Erm, I cant find the 'get a journal button' when I go to the journal section. Can someone tell me where to find it please?
