there is no religion for me, but i tend to find philosophies to live by. I do not believe in God as such, but I like to understand why people do and how they see Him.
Actually I’m a very devout Kadampa Buddhist. I come from a Buddhist family. I’ve studied other religious and found that the as I delve deeper into Buddhism my faith in Buddhism only increase. But I find a lot of people in the west, even some of the people who post on MAP misunderstand Buddhism and principles such as karma. I’ve heard people, especially Christians make some very stupid comments about eastern religions.
This can go both ways, mate; this is just your word. Imagine how you would feel if somebody wrote something like this about Christianity. Not very enlightening.
