Im sorry is this might be a silly question but is UFC a show that runs every week or is it only pay per views

The new shows are only on PPV. They do show some of the older stuff on sports channels.

Sometimes they show the whole event and other times it's a best of UFC.

In the USA it runs on Empire and the Sunshine network.

Word is that Zuffa, the parent company of the UFC, has struck a deal or is in the closing stages of striking a deal with SpikeTV (formerly TNN) for a weekly show.

how're they going to do a weekly show?

and don't watch ufc, leegreg89. it's fake, like pro wrestling. all smoke and mirrors.

Well they haven't shown prelim fights for several UFCs now, they can fill a few slots with that, classic fights, etc.

There are smaller MMA shows every week all over America. The UFC needs to take a page out of boxing's playbook and license and televise smaller promotions and fighters.

That is how you can build up fighters and personalities, whereas now no one knows most fighters in their PPV debuts.
