Well the difference is mostly dependant on the teacher. Most Bujinkan people will say Genbukan is more "aggressive" but I really can't say. In my training the only thing I can say is that all the training is with a partner. Buj guys can weigh in on this too. (I've never been to a Buj dojo)

i train mostly Genbukan, but I did do a little Bujinkan. Genbukan Dojos tends to me more tradition when it comes to bowing procedure, dojo etiquite. In addition Genbukan trains more aggressively. In bujinkan, the training was more informal, gi was optional, relaxed bowing. it seems less structured, a more free flowing enviroment. If I were you I would try both and see what you like better.

i would judge it on the dojo rather than the clan.

go along to any ninjutsu club near you and see how they are. it depends if your teacher is strict with rules or not :)

I agree. Our Bujikan dojo was very traditional and we trained very hard and aggressive.

It really depends on the teacher.
