TV's Fight school!

For the guys in the UK - has anyone seen this fight (martial art school) school program on SKY 1 Thursdays at 8pm?

What do you think of it ?


Personally i think its not very good. I think it's giving the wrong impression about martial arts training. It also only seens to cater for the arts that do semi-contact - not fair in my opinion!

Any thoughts?????????????

Yep, that means although I hate most of it, Im still fascinated enough to watch it every week :(

These are not the best in the UK I have to say! - they are good but a bit to photogenic for me! They have picked camera people - not saying I aint pretty enought to go on TV - dont get me wrong but the sparing was appaling! - How that TKD guy lost to the girl who had two techniques.

Walk forward and punch with no guard and grap and dump on floor - it is such a bad add for the fighters!!!!! - and the guy crying at the end - Oh dear!

I missed last weeks sadly - hey ill watch it but the stuff on it is a bit to much of "Old master is god" for me! and the black instructor - why does he put this crap oriental accent for the participants and speak like he is from Illford to the main sensei!

HELP US ALL!!!!!

It's one of those programs that reinforces the misinformation about martial arts that has been spreading like some Evil, dark, thick, cabbage-smelling fart through our media.
