Hi. I'm new around here and this is the first time I've posted. Well, that's not what I'm here for...

I've been a fan of martial arts, mainly ninjutsu, for a few years now, and have wanted to find a sensei to train me. But, I've looked and there isn't any dojos in Mississippi that is near where I live, which is southern MS. I DID find one, but I was only able to have one lesson before the dojo closed. So, I was wondering if anyone knows any good books that I can use to train myself. And, maybe, if possible, something on the sai. I'd really appreciate it.

the problem with learning Ninpo, is that is has so many details behind each technique that its hard to learn from a book or video. However, some recommendations.

Ninpo Bugei Vol.1 Fundamental Taijutsu by Tanemura Sensei (amazon.com)

This book covers all the taijutsu (unarmed combat) till Shodan.

A Beginners Guide to Ninpo by Renchi Alberigo (amazon.com)

This book doesn't include techniques but rather a guide on how to start Ninpo training and what is means to study Ninpo.

The Art of the Ninja 4 Video Series by Jack Hoban (winjutsu.com)

This is a video deminstation of Taijutsu Techniques from one the the highest ranking American Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu practioners.

Those are copyrighted materials; however, there are many Bujinkan sites with free video clips. http://www.universal-ninja.com/Templates/video.shtml
