Hi this is my first post!
I am keen to start Ninjutsu and was wondering if anyone on here can reccomend a good school based in South East England.
I have found this website www.SHINOBI-KAI.com and was wondering if anyone on here knows much about them?
I have tried looking at www.winjutsu.com but cant find any clubs that are close by to me.
Basically I am looking for a good geuine club that will teach me traditional Ninjutsu so what signs should I look out for?
Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the board. I can't say much about that site except they seem to be somehow both Bujinkan and Genbukan at the same time. I would say an x-kan affiliation is almost a guarantee of somewhat traditional ninpo but I don't know what to tell you with this one.

If it is both Bujinkan and Genbukan would that be a good or bad thing?

Well I'm not really sure. I think you might get both sides of ninpo but I'm not to sure Hatsumi or Tanemura would approve of cross system school. If i'm not mistaken Hatsumi told his students not to train in other systems. I'm just not sure if either organization would back them.

I have just found a bit on the website (FAQ) that says they are an organisation in the UK which allows people to learn Ninjutsu with out politics or prejudice and that they are affiliated with Genbukan and Bujinkan Ninjutsu.
Is it common for a place to teach both Genbukan and Bujinkan Ninjutsu?

Hey I can actually tell you all about Shinobi-Kai :)
Sensie Peter Brown is one of the best Ninjutsu teachers in Europe. He's a little chap about 5'5" but don't let that put you off. Peter's teacher was Doron Navon (The first non Japanese to be allowed to teach Ninjutsu outside of Japan).
Shinobi-Kai was with the Bujinkan for many years before moving to the Genbukan. (I have no idea if they are still with the Genbukan or not but it will not affect your training at all.)
As you know people can say anything on a web site or message board so I suggest go along and see for yourself. Then please come back and let us know what you think :)
Where abouts are you looking to train? Peter is in Brighton but there are Dojo across the south coast.

Yeah - it looks like Peter Brown only teaches in Brighton which is a bit too far for me but Mark Lutman looks like he teaches at the other places. Do you know much about him?

Yes I do, Mark is a fine teacher. I think he teaches in Portsmouth and another Dojo which name escapes me for the moment (begins with a B). Mark was my first Ninjutsu instructor. Hes a really nice chap too.
What Dojo are you looking to join?
