View Full Version : i need help creating a workout

I've been doing Tang Soo Do at a laid-back dojang for about 2 years. I want to bring my skills up this summer, but i don't know how. I was planning on creating a workout... but then i realized i don't know how.
Could someone give me a base from which to build a workout? it doesn't have to be necessarily tangsoodo-ish, i'm sure i can adapt any workout to my style.

the members workout thread has got some good info/ideas knocking around at the moment :cool:

You could try stronglifts or rosstraining.com?

check workout 1. always gave me good results :p

also check out the member's workouts thread in the bodyweight section (although maybe it should be in this section?) for lots of funky exercises

but also, i was looking for a workout that incorporated martial arts into it. something not so much fitness oriented (though i'll use that one too) but something focused on improvement of techniques.

then it wouldn't be a workout, it'd be technique practice.

if you do kung fu, though, check out the second full workout i posted on the other thread, there's an exercise with the resistance bands which oyu might find interesting for punching
