View Full Version : Gif animator
Can anyone recommend a freeware gif animator? I need to make some animated ad buttons for a website I'm working on.
I've got Fireworks, but my help files don't work properly, so I can't read up on how to do it. If anyone can tell me how to do it in Fireworks, that'd be good too.
Cheers!

The fireworks help file is 8mb - I can email it to you if you like, or I could upload it and give you a link?

I use Adobe ImageReady.... but it's not free (unless you pirate it).

Thanks Yoda, but I don't think the problem is the help file itself, its more that the help file is displayed using a browser, but my default browser is Opera, which Fireworks doesn't seem to like very much :(
I may have ImageReady on this PC from an old install, but if not, I'll try the Ulead software and see how thats goes.
I've downloaded one or two freeware programs, but they we full of spyware and other crap.

What version of Fireworks are you using? Fireworks MX uses the standard windows .chm format
I've got Fireworks 4, same version as Dreamweaver.
