These we where shown at our camp a while ago and I love using them when sparring but have noticed most people dont even bother with them seeming to always go for the wide clinch knees to the ribs.
Anyone else like to use the quick rabbit knees or is it just me?

well you have (i hope) heard of rabbit punches short and fast punches to body usually well similar for rabbit knees they are short and fast knees usually to the side of the knee or thigh I find them really good for in the close clinch. Sorry if the name is wrong but just repeating what they are described to me as.
trying to find a link will edit if i find it.

well we are taught a few different range knees for in the clinch but the *rabbit knees* are like i said short, sharp and rapid and the foot never leaves the ground then you have a mid range which just a case of lifting the foot straight up off the ground then of course the one you see everyone doing where the knee is brought out from the body then back into the ribs hopefully.
My point was that you see a lot of the latter but not much of the other 2 I have watched many a match where the opponents have been in close clinch and struggle to knee when the first 2 would have been easy. I am of course assuming they are not illegal.
