I recently played on the PS2 web cam thingy called Eyetoy, it is truly revolutionary. I don't think people realise the implications of this invention, but for those who don't know basically it transfers whatever you do onto the screen by tracking your body movement. For example, a great game on Eyetoy is where ninjas fly in from the sides of the screen and you have to literally swipe them away, flailing your arms like a loon!
My mate then showed me a preview section in his PS2 mag which showed a mace with motion sensors on and a guy using it as if in a kata killing on screen opponents.
Think of what this could mean. In less than a year we could have bokkens rigged up with motion sensors and could be sparring against Nightmare on Soul Calibur, IMAGINE.........
