I was thinking of doing something like this until my MA training starts ( i got about 1+half month till then).I want to focus on losing some weight also, so I got to keep up the endurance training.

Day 1: Plyometrics (clapping pushups, jumping squats, etc.)
Day 2: Heavy lifting (Full weight workout, low reps)
Day 3: Endurance
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Heavy lifting(Full weight workout,low reps)
Day 6: Endurance
Day 7: Rest

I want some advice on my endurance training, like whether those workouts can be exersices done to failure or roadwork? Also, will exersices to failure as well as cardio have a negative effect on my heavy lifting? ( making it useless maybe)

Alternatevly i would do this:
Day 1:Plyometrics
Day 2:Heavy lifting legs
Day 3:Heavy lifting upperbody
Day 4:Rest
Day 5:Heavy lifting legs
Day 6:Heavy lifting upperbody
Day 7:Rest

With a 2 mile run every night every other day

Which routine would you suggest?
(In both routines stretching exercises/technique training will be done twice a day even in rest days and abdominal 6 days per week with different intensity)

PS. some ppl suggested me that I do heavy lifting once a week (sat maybe with sunday rest) and focus on reps to failure on pushups/pullups, mon/wen/fri and squats/lunges on tue/thu, combined with roadwork/shadowboxing/ropeskipping almost every day, is that effective?

Alek,

I want you to know that as a member and moderator of the H&F forum, it is my explicit goal to help any and all members with their queries regarding H&F. Time permitting, I will get to your questions ASAP, and any that I leave unanswered (and even some that I answer) will also be answered by our other dedicated members. That being said, it will be much easier to keep track of all your questions regarding your routine if you would please keep the questions in one thread. It is more difficult for us to answer your questions in a timely and organized fashion when they are spread out across the forum.

That being said, I'm going to close this thread. Please let me know if you have any further questions or comments on my actions.

Kind Regards,
Yohan
