Hopefully not stating the obvious here, but just in case no one else gets back to you...
Three of the largest national Ju Jitsu Organisations with presences in this area are the British Ju Jitsu Association (BJJA), the Jitsu Federation and the World Ju Jitsu Federation. I'm sure that you can find their homepages on Google.
There are also many other good clubs affiliated to smaller organisations. You can find most of these either via their homepages through google, or by looking in the back of Fighters magazine, where the classifieds are.
If you're in one of the University towns, it's worth finding out if there's a club at the university, as they're often attached to a private club.

Here's a few for starters:
Jitsu Foundation clubs in the North East (http://www.jitsufoundation.org/starting/find/index.asp?region=6)
The Jitsu foundation is generally attached to universities, and usually offers very low priced, good quality instruction. I can't speak for the other two associations already mentioned, but I can highly recommend this style.
