Is there a way to add and/or use anchors in Journal entries?

It would be useful to know. Could the kitten help in getting an answer?

thanks

Anchors? Kitten?

Straight over my head man - what are you talking about?

We are looking at upgrading the journal software (when new version is available) as part of an upgrade to the site as a whole. This is supposed to have quite a lot of new features (according to the developer), but as yet I don't know what these will be.

Anchors as used in HTML
A reference point on a page for linking. Link usually indicated to by a #example.
Takes you directly to that point on the page. Something similar would be handy in the Journal so an entry could be directly linked.

New journal? Cool. Might be possible then, then, if not now. I should backup all my entries :P.

As for the kitten, check out Cain's 'New Post' thread in this section. They wouldn't let me ahve any fun with the fuzz ball :(

Guess what?

I just had more of a look, and It does :D. It would have had too for the links on the recent 10 list.

Talking about the recent 10, would it be possible to make it the recent 20? It's just that I rarely see entries from people in the UK, because of the time delay, most people visit in the evening, and by the time I go on, their entries are burried under newer ones.

Pretty pretty please *kitten reserved for use if necessary*

Booksie - click where it says "Latest Forum Discussions" and you'll get all the new posts since your last visit.

I think she meant the journal entries - would be nice if it did show more actually.

What is the average journal entries per day?

Booksie - I'll have a look at this when we start evaluating the *NEW Journal software* (due to be available in the next month) as part of the upgrade to the *NEW Forum Software*.

Oh, and the *NEW Arcade software*. And the *NEW Chat software*. etc etc. :D
