Hello,
Can anybody out there advise or show a newbie in Thai Boxing additional stretch exercises that I could do at home that would improve kicking technique. At the minute I am lucky to get my feet waist high!!!
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Superfoot... that is exactly the kinda stuff I was looking for! Although I reckon it could be a while until I get to that level!
By the way - awesome flexibility!

If you do your workouts in the correct sequence and do sufficient strength training then you could be like that in 6 months or less. The stickied guide in this forum should help, but if you need any more help then just ask.

The workouts shouldn't be a problem as the 2 instructors (Barry Norman of Sor Thanikul and Khunsuek Saphaprom from Thailand) seem to really know there stuff. I'm hoping to carry on training with these guys twice a week and HIIT running 2-3 times per week... combined with the stretch routines you provided will this be enough?

Only time will tell. Give it a try and see how your body responds. Just make sure you get enough rest and you should be ok.
