It is a misnomer. A modern art which uses the term bujutsu incorrectly. The first clip looks more like taikwondo.
Bujutsu is the japanese term for ancient warrior arts before they became budo modern interpretation of the arts.

I know nothing about Bujutsu but can tell that isn't Koryu! Seems like someone has heard the term and thought "Oooooh, that sounds like a good name for my style!" :bang:

Not really, Koryu Bujutsu are older warrior arts with lineages, Budo means warrior way or there abouts
From Fighting Arts .com
The word "budo" is the translation of characters used in the Japanese language (originally adopted from Chinese). "Bu" means military, or related to the military, or martial. "Do" means path, way or method. Budo thus refers to post-1600 generations of Japanese fighting systems based on former arts, but which emphasize "do" -- personal, ethical and spiritual development as the ultimate goal of training.
just find a style you like, try a few. Be happy in your training.

Not quite. Think of it this way Kenjutsu aikijutsu jujutsu became kendo aikido and judo. They are Japanese interpretations of the ancient ways the modern way placing emphasis on character developlment alongside martial effectiveness wheras the jutsu were predominatly about MARTIAL effectiveness over all else.
The term implies unarmed combat ..combat with sword spear naginata archery..a great number of modes of combat.
So budo are Japanese arts not a western modern derivative. In my view you should not use a Japanese term for an art so heavily influenced by western preference.
Simply using the term martial arts would have sufficed.
